3 Million Cocoons Cleaned so You Can Release Healthy Bees

At Rent Mason Bees, we run the largest mason bee program in the U.S., cleaning each cocoon by hand to remove predators like pollen mites, Houdini flies, and chalkbrood.

This ensures every cocoon you receive is healthy, safe, and ready to pollinate your garden each spring.

In this video, you’ll see:
• How our nationwide program carefully cleans and sorts cocoons
• Why cleaning is essential for healthy future generations of bees
• Behind-the-scenes footage from our fall harvest and cleaning process

Join our mission to protect solitary bees and restore pollinator habitats one cocoon at a time.
