It's the First Day of Spring!

IT’S THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING! IT’S MASON BEE TIME!
Hang up your bee house in warm morning sunshine.
Slide in your nesting block, place the bee tube on top,
When temps hit fifty, you’ll see nature pop!
The boys come out first, with white tufts on their heads,
The girls soon follow, from cozy cocoon beds.
For weeks they’ll be busy, they’ll flutter and glide.
Sprinkling pollen on flowers–pollinating 95%!
They dart through the garden, a wonderful sight.
Enriching blossoms and habitat during the daylight.
They lay eggs in each hole then seal it with a mud kiss.
You’ll love watching your new bee friends buzz around and be bliss.
To help mason bees thrive, remember these tips:
Use clean nesting blocks—no bamboo or drilled bits!
Remove in late spring once their work is all done,
Clean them in fall to rid predators and keep them strong.
So don’t miss the magic—order your bees soon!
Spring is here, and the flowers are in bloom.
