Thank you to Amber Noyes for writing a great article on what to plant now to feed pollinators during the “hungry gap” of early Spring.
This was shared in October, but I’ve been having conversations all week with hosts in midwest and east coast who always have a later spring on ways you can feed your bees if you still have frost and a frozen ground and can’t plant right now.
Plant her suggested flowers in portable pots so your bees have food when they emerge. Then when it warms up you can plant in your garden.
Solitary bee care changes with the seasons. Our emails help you know what to do next, from spring release through summer care, fall returns/harvest and winter preparation.
