NEWS – Pollinating Orchards and Berries with Mason Bees

Having blue orchard mason bees may be a good plan for your spring-blooming orchards’ pollination needs. Mason bees are affordable, low maintenance and improve crop yields. The little bees work well in conjunction with honey bees in almonds, cherries, pears, early raspberry varieties and blueberries. Researchers are starting to also look at mason bees’ pollination effectiveness in strawberries, too.
