NEWS: Our Bee Family is Expanding! New Brewery and Rent Mason Bee Location

The Watts family business is all about solitary bees. Jim Watts owns Watts Solitary Bees for commercial orchards and Rent Mason Bees, for backyard gardeners.

His son, Evan Watts, launched Watts Brewing Company in 2016 with beers inspired by bees. They were awarded Washington’s Very Small BREWERY OF THE YEAR and their beers The Leafcutter and Xylocopa (Carpenter bee) took home GOLD MEDALS. Their award-winning craft beers can be found in local restaurants, pubs and bottle shops around Washington State.

WE’RE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT THEY WILL BE OPENING A NEW TAPROOM IN WOODINVILLE, WASHINGTON, and RENT MASON BEES WILL SHARE A SPACE FOR OUR LOCAL HOSTS TO PICK UP AND DROP OFF THEIR BEES!!

The new taproom will feature a design inspired by the Watts family business raising solitary bees and will include bee boards on the walls and an outdoor Bee(r) garden with plants that support pollinators.
